TRENTON : WHERE YOU SURVIVE AND THRIVE. BEING FROM HERE TEACHES YOU HOW TO TURN NOTHING INTO SOMETHING. THAT’S SMART. WHEN YOU’RE FROM HERE YOU HAVE TO HIT THE PAVEMENT, MAKE IT OR BREAK IT.
TRENTON MAKES YOU.
Mike Hilton packs a serious punch.
Growing up in the streets of Trenton, Hilton developed a set of strong gloves, keeping his ground and earning his first title as a street fighter and brawler. He held his own, but it wasn’t until Hilton transformed his abilities with his fists, taking it into the ring, that he became a serious force. Hilton is a professional boxer, and mentor to Trenton’s youth. Training at Ike William’s gym 5 days a week, Hilton knows that you can’t swing like a champ if you’re smoking.
Leon Rainbow holds it down for Trenton.
Leon Rainbow’s signature drippy style might have it’s roots in an NYC street art style, but that hasn’t stopped the chatter around his work, helping him to earn the crown as the “go-to” man in Trenton for street art. He’s earned his success as an artist into becoming a mentor to local artists, skateboarders, and BMXers, keeping them tobacco-free so that they can achieve their goals. So next time you see or hear about his work – which has appeared around town and in culture documentaries — just know Leon holds it down.
La’Keisha Sutton is a FAN FAVORITE.
La’Keisha Sutton knows that cigarettes keep her stamina low and make it hard for her to train. When she isn’t playing pro ball, she’s working with Trenton’s youth, coaching and mentoring young talent… and setting the style standard. Her brand “Fan Favorite” is the go-to choice for young athletes that want to look good while they’re on the court. Catch her on the court, but probably don’t challenge her to a pick-up game. That is, unless you’re ready to get your game handed to you. Since graduating from the University of South Carolina, Sutton has played professional basketball in Taiwan, Finland, Ecuador, Germany, and Bulgaria.
